Slab Building/Pinch Pots

Using rolled out clay, cut into slabs and smoothing out the seams, we made a continuous stamp. Mine has a design of coral and fish a 3-D design.

The plates are made using positive and negative templates on top of white clay on a slump mold and painting over it with englobes, blue and green.

The different faces of my cube stamp

The sun and star stamp

My first pinch pots; one has a stopper with a flower which I'm going to use for perfume, the other is going be a small cup.

The cylindrical stamps

Using the ocean stamp I draped clay over a hump mold to make a bowl

These are my pinch pots

The Wave

The Cup

The Flower Topped Stopper and Bottle

I added the stamp to the body and added 4 little round feet

UP CLOSE!!!

My light house salt&pepper shakers, the lumps are the rock of Bug Light... now to wait for them to dry and be fired.
This is the new mug made in a day; after the other broke.
 This is it carved.
This is the combination piece in low fire clay. It is a teapot in the making
